Specialists Discuss the Importance of Training for Economic Developmentin Asharqia Chamber
Asharqia Chamber is holding a public seminar entitled "The Importance of Training for Economic Development"under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Shagawi, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), with the participation of a number of specialists in training in November at the Chamber in Dammam.
Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, ChairmanOf Asharqia Chamber, explained that the seminar which will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012, corresponding to 26 Thul-Hijah1433 will have two sessions addressing various topics, all revolving around one aspect which is the importance of training.
Hesaid that the first session will address "Training and its role in sustainable development" where officials from the Chamber's TrainingCommittee,Eastern Province Branch ofInstitute of Public Administration,DepartmentofTrainingand Scholarship ofDirectorate of Education – Eastern province will be speaking. The session will be headed by Saleh Al Humaidan, Director General of the Dar AlyaumPublishing House.
He also noted that the second session will discuss "Training and the needs of Saudi job market" where officials from TAFE Arabia Technical And Further Education, Human Resources Development Fund, Madar Al Khaleej Institute will be speaking. The session will be headed by Saeed Al Shahrani, Vice President of Al Khaleej Training And Education.
Al-Rashid said that the organization of this seminar by Asharqia Chamber comes from the belief of the importance and necessity of training for human development, which is the basis of comprehensive development, and based on the "people first" principle .
